My passion is photographing children, including children with
differences.
Combine my portrayal of children in their natural environment with
patience, caring and compassion. The result?
Portraits that capture special moments and the inner spirit of
children.
Camp FACE

Visit Camp FACE
and read about the great, wonderful weekend I spent with children who have
facial differences. Some of the campers share their experience
in the next column.
Camp FACE is held annually on the
3rd weekend in May. The
Center for Craniofacial Development and Disorders at Johns Hopkins
has additional information if you are interested in your child
attending Camp FACE, or if you would like to volunteer or contribute.

Help build self-esteem and enrich both
your child's life and your family's through a professional
portraiture experience that is sensitive to those with special needs.
The photographic experience is more than
just photos.
Hear from children on what the photographic experience means to
them.
"I would like to say thank you for all of the pretty things that
you said about me when we were at camp. I have to go now but I would
like you to email me back. I would love to hear from you"
"I'm really glad you came to our camp and took some pictures of
us. I hope you had fun getting to meet all of us. And those pictures
look really good. ... I really like the picture with me and (boy's
name) in it at the dance Saturday night. ... Again I would like
to thank you. Hopefully you could make it next year. and if not we'll
be thinking about you... you take care ... "
From grown-ups:
"These
are fabulous! It is so heartwarming to look at these pictures...
I can see why you didn't want to leave. ...You really do have a
special relationship with people."
"Thanks so much for joining us
on our great/wet weekend...you really captured some special moments!"
"Lisa,
Thanks so much... I'm so glad you pointed this photo out to me!
What such great memories!"
